Romantic tea party
This was a styled shoot with a “Roses” theme. I wanted to keep everything very romantic and feminine, like a delicate rose. From the wafer paper cake, to the mini rose jellos, you can see the theme throughout all the desserts. I hope you enjoy it!
This gorgeous buffet I purchased from Shabby Chic Texas. I love all of her beautiful furniture and her style (so much like my own). The cake and cookies were inspired by a roses print I purchased in the color scheme I had chosen.Once you have your theme and color scheme, you can let your imagination soar!
These dreamy and ultra feminine linens are from What’s The Occasion Linens and Decor here in Houston.

Wafer paper cake with sugar roses. The cookies also are adorned with wafer paper in a similar print. The mini rose jellos were done by my amazingly talented mother in law, from Fancy Gelatin. She also makes the beautiful sugar roses.
Tea anyone? The teacup cookies and pretty sugar cubes are such a sweet touch don’t you think?
Medium sized rose jello by Fancy Gelatin. It was pineapple flavored and so delicious! Almost too pretty to eat.
